Background and experience

His view of the job is simple: find the best deal available for the person in front of him, then stay involved for the life of the loan. He is known for moving fast and for giving a straight answer, including when the answer is that the deal does not stack up.
Lending has tightened considerably over the past decade and good borrowers get put in the too-hard basket more often than they should. Gavin has built the practice around picking those files up, and around the lender relationships — bank and non-bank — that make them work.
