Quantum Finance Australia

Our MoneyQuest membership

The panel behind a three-person practice

MoneyQuest is the aggregator behind Quantum Finance Australia, and it is what puts 40+ bank and non-bank lenders within reach of a three-person practice.

The problem it solves is one most borrowers never hear about. Every lender accredits brokers individually, so an unaggregated practice can only offer you the handful it has managed to sign up with.

This page is for anyone who has seen the logo on a broker’s site and wondered whether it means anything. It sets out what the membership does, what it does not do, and what we have chosen not to claim about it.

MoneyQuest, the aggregator behind Quantum Finance Australia

MoneyQuest is our aggregator. It is not our owner, our licensee or our franchisor.

What an aggregator does

The part of broking you are never meant to see

An aggregator sits between a broking practice and the lenders. It is infrastructure, and the only reason it matters to you is what it makes possible.

  • It carries the lender accreditations

Every lender a broker writes for has to accredit them individually. An aggregator holds and maintains those accreditations at scale, which is how one small practice in West Leederville reaches 40+ bank and non-bank lenders.

  • It runs the settlement plumbing

Loan lodgement, lender messaging, commission reconciliation and the compliance record all run on the aggregator's systems. None of it is visible to you, and all of it is the difference between an application that moves and one that sits.

  • It gives a small practice a big panel

MoneyQuest describes itself as a boutique aggregator and supports more than 600 brokers nationally. Scale is the whole point of the arrangement: it is what lets a West Leederville practice of three put your file in front of the same lenders a franchise network can reach.

The short version: without an aggregator behind it, a practice this size would be accredited with a handful of lenders rather than 40+. The width of the panel is the single thing about this relationship that changes what you are offered.

What membership does not decide

Four things this relationship has no say in

Pages about a membership tend to imply that the badge does something for the reader. Usually it does not, and the honest version is worth more than the flattering one.

Here is the boundary, stated flatly. Everything on the right of it is ours to answer for, and none of it moves because of who aggregates us.

  • It does not choose your loan

MoneyQuest has no say in the recommendation. The comparison is done here, by the broker who takes your call, against the circumstances on your file.

  • It does not hold our licence

Australian Credit Licence 389083 is held by Quantum Finance Australia Pty Ltd in its own right, not borrowed from an aggregator or a franchisor. The responsible lending obligations that come with it are owed to you by us.

  • It does not set your rate

Pricing and approval are decided by the lender, based on your circumstances and the property. No membership of anything changes that.

  • It does not make us a franchise

There is no franchise agreement, no preferred lender list and no volume target. An aggregator is infrastructure, not an owner.

What this page deliberately does not tell you

No membership number and no join date. We are not publishing either, because we would be publishing a figure nobody here can point at a document for.

No summary of the aggregator’s own membership rules either. Those are published by them, and our paraphrase of somebody else’s rulebook would be worth nothing to you and wrong within a year.

Aggregation in Australia has consolidated heavily and brands change hands. What matters to your file is not the name on the aggregator’s door. It is whether the licence, the panel and the recommendation sit where we say they do, and all three are set out on the company profile.

The standards we work to

Four commitments, and what each one costs us

These four are the part of the membership that reaches your file rather than our back office. They are reproduced from the material members are given, not rewritten into something warmer.

None of them are difficult to agree to on paper. Loyalty is the one with teeth: removing a conflict of interest sometimes means handing back the more profitable version of the same job.

  • Honesty

What is advertised, what is said on the phone and what is put in writing all have to line up. How the broker is paid is disclosed alongside it, before you proceed.

  • Compliance

Credit law moves, and staying current with it is a condition of doing this work rather than something a broker gets to opt out of when it is inconvenient.

  • Confidentiality

Your financials, and what a lender is told about you, are both handled carefully. Neither travels further than the file needs it to.

  • Loyalty

Conflicts of interest are identified and removed. Where one cannot be removed, you are told about it before you decide anything.

Awards from PLAN Australia

5 of the 13 awards on this site came from our previous aggregator

Quantum Finance aggregated through PLAN Australia until 2026 and these badges were issued by them, not by MoneyQuest. They are listed here because aggregator awards are worth reading — the body handing them out can see what every broker on its panel actually settled — and each is transcribed exactly as its badge reads.
